We have been riding out there during the week to have the track to ourselves. My dad and I will be racing next season. We started racing this season and decided we needed more track time before spending money to take last place. The membership to the track makes it way cheaper to simply run track days to get our skills built up. Good luck for the rest of the season. See ya next year!

I hear you. Our original intention was to start racing endurance this year. I ended up getting the bike race ready quicker than originally planned, so last year Ryan was able to run 6 sprints over 2 race weekends to get some race experience. Last summer and over the winter we spent as much time as we could at Katy with a couple of moto days at SpeedSportz thrown in to get ready for this season. It helped a lot.

There are usually two bikes racing in Formula 6 endurance. Right now we have the slower bike and we’re the slower riders. Over all, we’ve been finishing 15-17 out of about 20 bikes, but we’re having fun. In the offseason we’re going to work on getting some more power. We’re running a totally stock engine with the stock throttle body so there’s some things we can do.

We just installed a MNNTBX lightened primary and it woke the stock engine up a bit. We are gonna do a cam as well. Maybe we can meet up for a practice session out there some time. Till then, be safe and go fast!

We’re in the process of installing the lighten primary. Should have it in by the next race on September 21 in Denton.

Hopefully we can meet in Katy. We’re typically out there on the weekend. Sometimes it’s pretty busy with karts.

Yeah, Thats why we try to make time during the week to get out there. I can flex my work hours and my dad is retired from actual work even though my mom has him endlessly busy. Not sure if yall are able to commit to a weekday but its 100% awesome to have the track to yourself for the entire day. We will be there sometime during the first week or second week of October and also the week of Thanksgiving. Hit me up in a message here and we can arrange a day atleast discuss times to get out there. It would be awesome to have some riders of similar skill level or even better to practice and learn from.

We definitely wouldn’t mind getting together to five, but with work and my son being in high school, it’s hard for us to get out there during the week unless it’s a holiday. We may be out there during Thanksgiving. We’ll also probably look at doing the SpeedSportz moto day in October. The last TMGP endurance in supposed to be at SpeedSportz on October. It hasn’t been scheduled yet.
