Not an owner, but considering it.

I wanted a Z125 but then all the online Motorcycle sites said the U.S. wasn't getting them this year so I bought a 2015 Grom last December.

Invested $2,000 into mods that I'd never get back out of it if I traded it in so it's a keeper. Trying to find a way to have both the Grom AND a Z125!

Welcome to the forum! Keep the Grom, buy the Z125 and don't mod it yet until you have more funds? Only way I can think. :grin2:

That could work, as long as I don't make that First Mod. Make the first one and I can't stop. :wink2:

Both bikes are a great time. Just save up so you can get the Z125 next and in the meantime you can hang out on the forum.

Some of the more generic parts would transfer, like tires, bars, barends, grips, but not much else.

I like the Grom too much to not keep it just the way it is, though.

I was planning on doing a Ruckus Build this coming Fall and Winter. Might have to reconsider...

Well that's sort of it's whole purpose, it's an entry-level bike that just meets the needs of the market but also is a great platform for those looking to modify it for more.

We are Grom fans and may have a Z125 and Grom at home very soon. I just placed my deposit on a Z125 and my son who rode a Ruckus for a couple years is now looking into a Grom since the prices for them are finally dropping a bit in our area.

Hopefully you can get it sorted out as a trade would probably hurt based on those mods... in any case the Grom is awesome!!!

It's all on the bike already except for the Fuel Controller. I want to get a good performance baseline before I install that so I can tell how much of difference it makes.

The LED headlights, do both of them turn on at the same time? Seems like you could blind oncoming traffic with both of them on.

Lower bar only is on as low beam, Upper bar comes on as well for high beam.

They're definitely BRIGHT and I had to aim them very carefully so I don't blind oncoming traffic. :surprise:
