Someone's testing out the Z125 on the road and you can hear him accelerate.

I like the tone it has which makes it sound like there's some good level of power to play with and not high pitched like some weed wacker.

It sounds like a normal motorcycle that you can take almost anywhere. I tried listening to a weed whacker video for comparison and those whackers are pretty quiet. .

well yea, KAwasaki uses that 125cc in a bunch of product for that market.

It's just that stock, most of these 125's just have a pitch too high for my liking.

One more reason to go aftermarket. Although brands like Akra can cost a lot it is worth it.

There's a lot of other brands out there way cheaper than akra if cost is a concern. Can also DiY something. Think if you want a more throaty sound, your pipes need to be bigger.

DIY/Custom will be a rare approach, don't see that happening often enough overall. But that cheaper aftermarket exhaust route will be what the masses do for sure.

The exhaust doesn't seem to be the modders' main concern. They're more interested in all things flashy before modding the exhaust.

Well those are the cheaper things to do, and in this market it's not going to be that common to see a lot of a high dollar mods being done.

When you get into the 250-300cc range and higher, that's where high dollar mods really start to pick up pace.

With the amount of body parts some z125 owners replace with aftermarket ones, can't imagine cost being a deterrent. Maybe not everyone will get an akra but there's plenty of other cheaper options out there for a better sound.

Cheaper options for sure, but overall its not common that people go to that extent to get pricey mods done. Typically online you the percentage of people that do these mods, the rest that don't do as much don't show it off.
