Is it actually your first starter bike? Or have you owned a motorcycle before? Grom is a great bike. You shouldn't go wrong with either. it;s just a matter of preference.Lol. I'm currently in the market for a new starter bike. I was looking at either the Z125 or Grom as a city commuter.
Owned a motorcycle before, but looking for a 125 for commuting in the city. I'm not sure what the difference is between this and the Grom though. I am looking at getting maybe a FZ09 or FZ07 or even the XSR900 to go with the 125.Is it actually your first starter bike? Or have you owned a motorcycle before? Grom is a great bike. If you're looking for a daily commute within the city, I've came across a review:Owned a motorcycle before, but looking for a 125 for commuting in the city. Good choice for the city since you never know what can happen to a nicer bike, just too much of a risk. Rather keep a nicer bike for times where I can almost always have it under my watch or at least in areas I feel safe.Owned a motorcycle before, but looking for a 125 for commuting in the city. It might be similar, but I do have a feeling the Zuma and the Z125 might a little bit of riding dynamics to it.If you're looking for a daily commute within the city, I've came across a review:
"2016 Zuma 125 is built around a strong steel frame with fat, aggressive tires on new cast aluminum wheels. Rugged front and rear suspension, along with protective brush deflectors and fork tube boots that further emphasize the off-road styling, make the Zuma 125 capable of riding on varied road surfaces while delivering plenty of attitude for daily commuting."
:surprise:
I agree with you 100%. 125 for city riding while a nicer bike (preferably >600) for the weekends .Good choice for the city since you never know what can happen to a nicer bike, just too much of a risk. Are you going to get a 600+cc??
Do you have any 600cc in mind that you're thinking of getting? :grin2::grin2::grin2::grin2: 100%
That's true!Good choice for the city since you never know what can happen to a nicer bike, just too much of a risk. Rather keep a nicer bike for times where I can almost always have it under my watch or at least in areas I feel safe.
It's so sad. How they can just do that. I could see the van coming by and picking it up. But I'm wondering how they steal it from inside the condo... underground parking lot which is accessed by a key fob. Unless they somehow follow in?It's unfortunate but it happens, way too often stories are heard about 2-3 guys pulling up in a van (Ford Econoline, Chevy Express, etc.), jumping out and just lifting a bike up, throwing it in the back and driving away.... it's that easy and that quick.
Yeah but in Asia, it's tricky with the insurance thing. They'll find whatever ways to not pay for it, unlike here in Canada. My buddy got paid from the insurance for the stolen bike in his condo parking garage. He ended up with another brand new bike and added the anti-theft system to it.That's what insurance is for, in case these things happen but they don't really cover aftermarket parts.
Also noticed that Canada only gets the Z125 Pro in green, don't even have the option to go grey.
Looks right now like it's a choice of Green or Green.Yeah but in Asia, it's tricky with the insurance thing. They'll find whatever ways to not pay for it, unlike here in Canada. Oh.. will canada be getting the gray? or they just launching the green one here?
Oh nice!Looks right now like it's a choice of Green or Green.
Area 22 in Vancouver, B.C. just did a short video with the Z125 they recently took delivery of. They will be doing more videos as they modify it.
