I'm not sure what you mean. I don't think it means anything at all for NA. The bike won't be sold in Europe but it will be sold in NA. It likely means the bike won't be produced in Europe.
and you have confirmation from who? Europe is a MUCH larger moto market then North America, 125's sell far better in Europe then in NA because countires are smaller, roads are smaller, less highway riding, more basic commuting...
If Kawasaki doesn't think its viable for Europe why should it be viable in NA?
Would be a big mistake if this bike would not be sold in Europe.
Especially here in Germany people will love it.
At least I love the pocket version of my Z 1000.
Tried to find a general idea of how much it is to install ABS onto your bike after purchase and though I can't find an actual number people have mentioned that it's not worth the cost so maybe it's not worth it for Kawasaki to add it to their smaller and cheaper bikes.
They're going to have to change the brake hydraulics, move the wiring harness, calipers and a few other things to make ABS happen on the z125. Maybe they don't see a profit in doing this for the European market.
It's more cost and time efficient to just sell the bike and go for one with ABS, even then I think it's going to be rare someone does that just for ABS.
Never actually looked into how big the ABS module is nor do I know what it actually looks like. Tried looking it up and came up with this.
Is that tiny thing the ABS unit not including additional wiring, etc?
