Do you wear jeans, textile or leather pants? Just thinking that you might be able to upgrade your protection and comfort at the same time and not have to buy a seat. I use Alpinestars A10 Air-Flow pants and they have a little extra padding compared to jeans. I agree that the seat is firm though and an hour in, I'm ready to take a break.

Wondering the same. I'm about to get out my turkey carving knife and reshape the factory foam. Stock seat pushes me forward and yanks the boxers up😬

I like it, I can ride longer due to the shape so it is more comfortable. My stock seat is going out to Jettrim to get customized like the mnnthbx z. Just different colors.

wvabeer, I wrote my comments about the Dark Knight Street seat here. In my opinion it is a definite improvement in comfort over the stock seat, I could ride for 1.5 hours with no noticeable discomfort.

With the stock seat, I get pain after about 20 minutes.

The DKS seat cost USD$113 shipped to my nearest postal office, and took about a week.

 

I got the Dark Knight bridal and I love it , it had a few wrinkles which I plan to take out but it's really comfy. And I rode to local shop today to grab something and there were a lot of people outside kinda oggling it.

The seat as shown on Corbin's website is pretty comfy. I've had it for a few hundred miles now.

 

I just ordered one it looks like you could ride a while without a sore butt.

 

I'd be interested to see that seat concepts seat in person. Id also like to see it sold as a complete seat too. Lots of people do not want to deal with recovering a seat.

I ordered this seat from thailand, was 55$. from Dark Knight Street facebook page, it will be here in about 10 days and I can give you review then. but 55$ can't not be better than the stock seat <_<

Corbin makes such a nice seat... but they aren't very aesthetically pleasing to look at. But i cant knock a comfy butt. Im taking mine to a local shop to get a custom job. I just don't want to give up my bike for a few day! Lol..

Pretty sure you can order the seat from Corbin in a lot of different fabric / stitchings. There's a thing on their website where you can mess around with a bunch of settings to create your own customized seat.

 

You can get those seats in almost any color, stitching, round moldings , the configurations are endless. But the quilted look is always going to be there.

 

I decided to take the Z125 for a long road trip the other day and after 30 minutes, things got really sore (ended up riding for 4 hours straight, ouch). $363 is a steep price, but it's a must for long distance travelers.

I have a Corbin seat for my other bike (2008 Kawasaki Versys) and can vouch that they're going to be much more comfortable than the stock seat. Unfortunately, they're not as aesthetically pleasing but they at least give you options to customize the looks to a degree, as wvabeer stated.

Well I took the bike out for a 2 hour ride I can say it is as good as my use to be road king seat. Money well spent.
