If you don't already, follow @FaithRidingJohnny on IG. He's an Atlanta based racer and moto vlogger, and all around great guy. He made the trip up to stay with us for the weekend, and transformed his Z.

Motorwise, we tossed on the 143 big bore, cam, added the high flow head and intake, Yosh, Bazzaz, and Mtake. Suspension got the new Ohlins drop-ins up front, and shock in the back.
Rounded it off with our fat bar mount, Rental bar and grips, ASV levers, Driven rearsets, lightweight battery, G2 quick turn throttle, Rizoma front signals, and our fender eliminator w/ integrated tail.

The change in the bike is SHOCKING. Our shop Grom would pull the stock Z hard, and now it won't begin to keep up with the Z. We can't wait to see him get it on track. He's going to give some people fits...

We're in the process of building a factory level track bike for corporate Kawi, which will have a similar package with the addition of our lightened primary and stroker crank. We'll probably do a documented build tread as we get deeper into that project...

Numbers?!?!?

And what mods does your shop grom have?
Our shop Grom makes 12hp, and is 30lbs lighter than stock. No numbers on his yet. Worked around the clock all weekend on it, then rode it hard. We'll dyno the factory bike we're building for Kawi, but I'm content to simply know Johnny's is crazy fast...

Beautiful looking bike!

Traditionally, at least here in the Midwest, a big bore kit means you're not allowed in ANY classes. The "GP" or open classes are still cc limited, but you can do cams and HC pistons, etc.
