Kawasaki is aiming directly at the Honda Grom with its Z125 Pro motorcycle.
The biggest difference between the two bikes is the price though. At $2,999 in the US, it is $200 cheaper than the Honda Grom. The Kawasaki Z125 Pro packs 125cc of displacement, with digital fuel injection for the 2-valve SOHC air-cooled single-cylinder. Some expect the Z125 Pro to produce slightly more power than the Grom, but as these figures are rather diminutive, we guess it won't make a significant difference.
Just like the Grom, the Z125 Pro is advertised as a two-up bike, but unless the rider and the passenger are slender teenagers, this will most likely not do.
It certainly seems poised to compete with or overtake the Honda Grom.
