Two things :I purchased the 143 cc BBK with V2 head etc. have 95 % installed.

1.There is a black braded hose that originally fit over a nipple on the stock intake manifold. The manifold that came with the kit has this closed off, This hose is not from the case but comes from an area under the back of the gas tank attached to a piece that looks like a plastic sensor? I do not see it on the service manual?
I called the vender about it ( not MNNTHBX) and they did not know. What is it and what have others done with it?

2. There is a large round rubber gasket that came with the pack of top end gaskets what is it for ?

Any help appreciated .

That's the Calif, model . Fuel evaporative system
You can take the whole system off, or just run the hose hose down anywhere /

Thread on it here

What size is the gasket . Can you post a pic here

Thanks for the thread! No pic but it is very close to the size of the head gasket. The person answering my email at tb said it is the head gasket? ( I got the actual base and head gasket with the kit. It is all put back together and has been ridden w/o issues. I just don't like having "extra parts" at the end of a project.
