Starter or killswitch issues

Anyone else notice any issues with starting the z125, seemingly on cold starts (may be coincidental). I have checked in neutral, kill switch off, key on, press starter button (nothing happens, no click no nothing). Then I will press it again and again and eventually one time it just starts. Wondering if my kill switch is possibly bad or if something else is going on. I have an exhaust, intake and fuel controller. But didn't have issues until weather started getting colder it seemed. Thoughts, troubleshooting steps anything would be greatly appreciated. I assume with the bazzaz on I am sol for bringing it to the dealer to have them look at it?

The intake and exhaust and depending on the tune, it'll be leaning out on start up. Mine started fine every time first crank, put and exhaust and chimera intake on and now I have to give it a touch of throttle and crank a few more times. I don't believe these bikes have a "cold start mode" but you might be able to do something with the commander to keep it a bit richer on start up.
I don't think it has anything to do with that. It doesn't even attempt to start it's as if kill switch is on. I press and it does nothing. One other guy on the forum is having it so I can refer to that thread. Seems to work fine only using the key and avoiding killswitch. Very odd.
Ahhhh yeah sounds like dodgy kill switch. Just crack it open and short the switch. Give it a couple of test runs to troubleshoot.

I opened it up. Cleaned it with some electrical cleaner and coated it in dielectric grease. No issues since.
Did you check the sidestand switch too? Those have been known to go on other bikes...
my r3 has this problem sometimes too someone told me its the temperature that causes this
Was searching this again and found my post so figured I’d send my resolution in the end. The issue came back but actually I ended up having one of the issues with the ecu needing to be replaced. They then recalled it and replaced it again. It worked for a while but having issues again now at about 3000 miles. I think it is kickstand sensor related. When it is up it starts right away.

I'm sick of these kickstand switches too. Made a vid that shows how to bypass with a handy little harness (easy to reverse if you resell or change your mind).
