Someone changed out the stock exhaust for a Proliner and it sounds so much better with a lower tone growl.

Is it just me or is that exhaust slip tiny compared to what you normally see?

Yea, it's smaller than your average sport bike exhaust but it is made for a 125cc bike with an overall smaller frame.

I like the look of the underslung exhaust more but that's my preference. Looks a lot cleaner to me than something that sticks out.

Same here and usually they sound good, so it's a big win for me. For some people it sounds too loud but that clean look with louder sound is what i'm after.

It's a cleaner look and it concentrates the weight into the middle of the bike.

Just read a few pros and cons about the under slung exhaust.

It's supposed to reduce ground clearance and decrease back pressure (not sure if this is true or not). Maybe even a slight drop in power and torque on an already low cc bike. Guess it's down to looks or function if you change it out for a Proliner exhaust.

Looks is important to me and being able to clean it up with a low slung is what appeals to me, all about looks and the improvement in sound.

I think underslung exhausts are fine. How much ground clearance do I really need if I'm not going off road?

If you're sticking to paved roads the average height an underslung exhaust sits at shouldn't be an issue at all.

The loss in power and torque are probably negligible.

It's a 125cc bike. I assume people don't buy it for the high power and torque.

Saw a bike on Instagram with an Orange exhaust that matches the color of the orange Z125 but I can't seem to paste the picture here. But at least we know a lot of aftermarket parts are making themselves available rapidly.
