Several months ago, I purchased a 28' camping trailer.
I had a front hitch installed on my GMC truck and added a MC rack.
I searched for a small MC I could load onto the rack.
The Z125 is perfect!
So, I purchased a new 2017 Z125.
The rear suspension seems plenty strong enough for dirt trails. How about the front upside-down forks? They gonna hold up to dust and grit, and hard thumps?
I once had a TW200; nice bike...but speed limited, more so even than the Z. The Z is a better ride in city traffic; but I wonder how the whole thing would hold up on a fire trail.
I've taken mine down a mild ATV trail on the stock tires and it did okay. I wouldn't suggest doing anything crazy even with dirt tires, but it should be able to go anywhere the big adventure bikes can go. I have a tight single track through my woods behind my house with lots of rocks and even some small downed trees crossing it. The Z125 has a hard time getting over the trees, but goes fine through the rest of it.
