I found this cable sticking out of the side of the fairing. I'm new to motorcycles and the z125. I have no idea what this cable is.

I just stuck the cable back under the fairing. That's fine, right?

Thanks for the help!

Don't spend a bunch of money on a tender. Get a Schumacher from walmart.

Just another option for your consideration.

I bought the Black and Decker linked below for our Honda and it works a treat, even comes with the adaptor you found on your bike.

After reading this thread I'm pretty disappointed that a dealer in MN has the nerve to charge $200+ to "assemble" the bike but didn't put a charger pigtail on it. Owell, unlike my BMW I don't have to remove the fuel tank to access the battery, it will just have to come out of the bike for winter.

That connector appears to eb a standard "SAE" connector, and if so, can also be equipped with a short (6 to 10") adaptor cable thta converts the SAE to a female coax cable receptacle. Most 12 volt electrically heated vests are equipped with male coax plugs, which can then plug into that adaptor cable. This enables you to stay warm on cold or rainy days, and stretches your weather riding limits a LOT.
