Hello, I'm a new rider from Ohio and I just picked up my Z. I absolutely love her, but she needs to be lowered a bit. Anyone have suggestions on where to get lowering links? Or what the softest shock setting is if that would work. Thank you! I'm Excited for this new adventure.

Howdy!

Where at in Ohio? If you want it lowered because you are short and don't weigh much, the softest shock setting will probably help a lot. You could also try a low seat. Both of those are much cheaper and easier than lowering. You may also be able to put on smaller diameter tires, but I haven't looked to see what the smallest tires are that would fit.

This guy has some great riding tips for short riders:

Thank you! I'm barely 5' and weigh 105 lbs. I'll definitely look more into your suggestions.

Welcome Ashley ! As a new rider I would suggest that you take a local MSF course. It is good way to learn the basics of riding and basic safety tips. Great way to familiarize yourself with your new motorcycle.
