Just wanted to know what you guys thought I messed up on. Stock clutch was giving me issues. I do wheelie a lot. So I ordered a heavy duty EBC with heavy duty springs. The kit didn't come with new steel plates so I re-used the stock ones. I also didn't re-use any of the stock clutch plates. Anyway I installed everything, adjusted the clutch, and have been out riding a few times. It still doesn't seem as grabby as I want it. I even kept the stock springs in case the new springs were gonna be too hard, but to be honest the aftermarket springs don't feel much different. When I bought my Z the clutch was great for awhile. I could wheelie anytime I wanted. Now the clutch slips about half the time while trying to clutch up in second. Do I need aftermarket steel plates? Was EBC a bad choice? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss. Thanks in advance.
