My kawasaki was stolen a few weeks ago and was found on Monday only issue im having after getting it back is the ignition switch was swapped out so now my key dose not work is there anyway to start bike with out the correct key or should I just buy a new ignition switch

You can bypass the switch like a race bike would. If you do that you just press the starter and off you go. Bikes are too easy to steal :(

Other option is to buy a new ignition switch.

You still have a key for the seat and gas tank ? The ignition key switch has a 3rd wire anti-theft system and the ECU needs the signal from the ignition. It can be done with a off.on switch and a resistor incorporated, but probably easier to by a new ignition and they might be able to match your seat/tank key and so someone else can't just steal it ?
