-Ninja 300 injector
-Pro Taper bars

On pump 91 it makes 19!
Stock with just the SC project and off the shelf pcv map made 9hp

AND IT GOES 80MPH NOW!!!

Also race track proven. Will pull on 300s coming out of a corner!

Nice. How is stability up within 10 mph of that bike's top speed? If I had that bike I think my next mod would be an adjustable steering damper.

You plan on doing anything to the bottom end? Your power is getting up there enough I might start to worry about durabilty. Well maybe not, only 20 hp.

I'm a little surprised it doesn't make more than 19 HP on pump gas. Doesn't the 143 kit make 15?

Stability is about the same. Before the power mods it got a little bit of head shake going around some corners. But hitting 80mph felt solid. Didnt worry too much about it, but that was only in a straight line, no turns. So I could be different 🏻

Not too worried about the bottom end lol

Was that slipper clutch/cover made for the KLX110? Or is it a specific Z125 product? I know it isn't cheap.
It's from takegawa, most of the parts are interchangeable between the two, but this one was made specifically for the z125. I know if you get the 5 or 6 speed you have to get a different case I believe.

Well, the 19 was just after 100 miles on the fresh engine. Not quite fully broken in yet. And also didnt mess with the timing at that point.

Also, we had to cut a bunch of fuel cause of the 300 injector. I need to get the 34mm throttle body for more air, that way I can up the fueling a bit more.

I've seen some Ninja 300 builds, big bore with high comp pistons getting up into the low 60 hp range. The bottom ends on those bikes don't last at all. They need a complete bottom end rebuild after 1 season.

Kinda hard to say though what a Z125 can take long term. I'm sure the 143's and 155's run forever. Good luck with it. At the worst, well at least these bikes are cheap! Beats blowing up a $12K supersport.

That's why I also just bought a ninja 400 😉
