After months in the works, our proven Grom performer is now available for the Z. Tuned length, tapered, MNNTHBX proprietary silicone runner provided cooler intake temps and less vibration, and is paired with the highest quality filter on the market. Includes powdered bracket and stainless hardware, all of it made in the USA. Substantial bolt on performance. $99 at www.mnnthbx.com with optional shroud braced available shortly.

Ari Henning just popped a Mtake and Bazzaz on the Z, and found the power he was looking for. This, after the weaker midrange of the cam, and he's yet to move off the base Bazzaz map. Once he adds the AFM and can build maps for that set-up, he'll be grinning ear to ear....

Now that looks really good. Love the filter itself as well. Any gain numbers ?
Not yet, but they're coming. In fact, Ari Henning is about to dyno it hisself. On the Grom, we made 40%+ more power on the pipe/Bazzaz/Mtake/cam, and the Mtake was a big part of that...

We'll do a video next week, though it's so easy it hardly needs one. The gains are very impressive, but I'll leave it at that until I have real numbers, which we will before long. Optional shroud braces are about 10 days away.

The air filter looks to small for future upgrades. It "could" become a restriction at a later date. Is there a k&n cone option availible?

NO CHANCE. This is a bit better quality than the K&N, made exclusively for us by the nation's premier cold air intake company. The day it becomes too restrictive for you, let me know, and I'll buy it back from you, but I assure you it flows 4x more than any Z will ever require...

Can't wait till I order mine in a few weeks. Quick question though, will I need a fuel controller for just the intake? I won't have the money to put an exhaust on probably until next year but would like to pick up some power. Basically I just want to make sure that I won't tear anything if I run it for a couple months until it goes away for winter storage.
