Trying to wire in a Digital GaurdDawg keyless ignition system kit. Supposed to be plug and play, but not so. Wondering if anyone had any experience trying to wire in one of these?

Yeah, the resistor comes with the kit. Has a 4 wire connection coming out of module and just 2 that go into the Z ignition switch. Waiting to hear back from Guard Dawg as what to do etc.

Is there something specific you are hung up on? There isn't much to these bikes... I'd assume it's pretty straight forward.

Think I got the wiring issue resolved-just need to connect it all together. Turns out I had looked at the wiring diagram for another Z model. The J model has 3 wires into/out of the ig switch. Will update for sure here.

Will have to wait as looks like my stalling/engine cut out issue was due to an aftermarket ecu failing. Hoedar. Runs fine with the stock back in place. Looking at other options now for ecu. Ecotrons....Aracer? thoughts?
