Just read on an Indonesian site that the Kawasaki Z125 could be released there soon. Kawasaki Motor Indonesia will be launching four new models in 2016 and the Deputy Head of Sales and Promotion said that one such model could be the Z125.

Hoping Kawasaki will expand the market to include more countries now that they're moving outwards from Thailand.

The chance of them spreading into other nations is getting slim, and that ramped up even more with news about a bike that sits above this but under a 250. It should have a longer shelf life than this Z125.

Seems like this type of bike wold do really well in many developing countries. There is a growing market for smaller displacement bikes. Many automakers have been coming out with suck bikes.

I see it mentioned in Japanese too so it could make it's way to Japan some time in the future and it makes sense for Kawasaki to do so.

Not bad, decent progress. But unfortunate for anyone in the west.. it seems to be like a long way to go before it happens if it ever does.

At this point it's a better move for the segment. Kawi hesitating to move into north america is already a bad sign for them.

What would you like to see in an updated grom?

Apparently, the Z125 has been released in Indonesia so we could be seeing videos and pictures from them soon.

Yes and a family will well exceed that limit. Sure to put a lot of stress on the engine, wouldn't like to know what condition engines like that are in, even with oil better suited to harsher running conditions.

families would get a scooter to ferry them around instead of a z125, just not as much space on a sporty bike. But I would be interested to see how much stress the z125 engine can take.
