Any 7/8" bar should fit with the stock bar clamps. All Renthal and ProTaper bars should work. And Superbike bars would work, too.

Note that any of these will have a shorter rise, making the bars lower than stock, which will require a bit of forward body lean to reach them. You can buy bar risers to compensate for that.

The Rox Bar Risers are cool in that they have different rises and you can pivot them forward and backward.

Someone will make a set of clamps that will fit Fatty Bars pretty soon.

Are the Rox Bar Risers universal or do they need to come out with one specifically for the Z125? I like the pivot aspect of the risers in case I want to lean back a bit more.
They're semi-universal. You just buy the size that matches your handlebar diameter and choose which rise you want.

Here's their fitment chart. Note that different bikes use the same part number.

They sell them for 7/8", 1", 1 1/8" and 1 1/4" bars.
If you have a specific need you can call to verify fit.

Will any 7/8 grips fit on the pro taper bar??

Most 7/8" aftermarket bars are universal, so I don't see why not. I put on the Pro Taper 7/8" KLX110 bars(with Domino MotoGP grips) for a slightly lower rise and less sweep than stock. It's a more comfortable bar for me and I'm over 6 foot tall.

on sharp turns my legs get trapped between the bike and stock handlebars, I need to make a conscious effort to move my leg to avoid this from happening. Any recommendations on different bars or methods of which to resolve this issue?

Many thanks

We designed our top clamp & riser to have four mounting positions front to back to allow you to tailor the position to your tastes. Being 6'2", I personally wanted the ability to get the bars out of my knees...

I will be going to my local BMX shop to get bars for mine. At 6' 0" it's not a big prob yet but I can see it coming.

I'm thinking a 4pc BMX bar will do it nicely. If anyone has been down this road please advise.

Thanks,

We've made Z top clamps and bar mounts for oversized bars forever, and they're awesome. Adjustable to four positions front to back. Bars are a matter of personal taste, but the RC High is so a popular end, it's now the only one we stock. Hard to beat....

What is the actual Rise Height of the stock handlebar? One of the main reasons I enjoy the z125 is the comfort (I have other bikes) so I'm not looking for a more aggressive seating position.

The Renthal 7/8 Street Handlebars go up to 105mm in Rise Height.
