Does the Z have a 'normal' electrical system as found on most other bikes? Ergo a DC 12v system? Or does the Z run AC like it's Honda counterpart?

I am thinking about adding a brake light flasher to the integrated tail light the PO installed. I would go with a new TST/Motodynamics tail light, but they are ~4-5x the price of the flasher... which is all I really want.

Had one on my other bike . A huge safety factor when braking even in the daylight it's quite noticeable to those behind you ;)

That's just the battery. All batteries are DC.

The Grom (I know different bike, but same target price point) has a 12v DC battery, but the electrical system runs AC. There are some headlight mods and such that require a 'AC to DC' conversion for the bike (link)... I'm just wondering if Z runs AC to save on cost, or if it runs DC like it's larger counterparts.

Hoping @mnnthbx or @HardRacing would know off the top of their heads since the deal with both bikes.
