Foolishly left my key in on position and kill switched turned on had plans to ride and got distracted remembered hours later but it was too late. Would it be better to just buy another battery or charge this dead one? Bike is only 2 months old. After doing research I've come across the ANTIGRAVITY ATZ-7 RE-START BATTERY. So not sure if I should just replace my stock one with that since it seems like a good upgrade or just keep this and charge it.
If upgrading to the ATZ-7 is within your means it really helps with the typical cold start issue the Z' has
And leaving the key on next time to long. Lol

Empty is 0 volts or anything less than 1v technically. If you ran it down that far it wouldn't take a charge and yes it would be damaged. Chances are you were no less than 6, probably closer to 8.
My stock battery gets put on a charger once or twice a month while the bike is in storage for the winter and it hasn't given me a problem at all.
It's a "battery tender junior" from autozone for $42.
Yeah just dont leave them plugged in all the time. I think that will decrease the battery life
