CHIMERA Intakes.
- RAM AIR EFFECT = Excellent boost in power. (Filter points directly into oncoming air for maximum Ram Air Effect)
- OEM FIT
- CLEAN LOOK
- Great sound
- RETAINS your STOCK Crankcase Breather hose (Very important)
- Saves weight as well.

Very nice looking intake I agree, but you have me chuckling at RAM AIR EFFECT! :wink2:

I have a hard time imagining a 60mph top speed and no sealed airbox being able to rise above normal atmospheric pressure. Unobstructed and direct, sure. Ram air, perhaps not.

Anyway, another good option for us Z125 owners. Thanks for being a sponsoring vendor.

Agreed, if someone was that worried about proving their is a higher pressure inside the intake then outside, they could install a Pressure sensor.

But, reality is....... your forcing air directing into this filter.
And the intake track funnels it right into the TB.

Doesn't get much better then that for intake performance. :)

Hi HardRacing Team, with such a setup what are the effects of riding it in raining / wet conditions? I am guessing the rain water will hit the pod filter directly, getting it wet? Will that be a concern?
.

If you ride around in torrential down poor all the time... you'd probably want to invest in a KN Waterproof sock that goes over the filter. Think they are like $7-$8

There are probably over 2000 + chimera on the road these days, between Grom and Z125.... and no one has ever reported sucking in water.

On top of that, there are probably over 250,000 Cars, Trucks, and off road vehicles that use a similar Cold Air Intake with a KN Cone filter that gets wet. If there was a serious issue with Water getting in....... you'd hear a lot of people locking up their motors, and stop to all Cold Air Intakes.

Hi HardRacing Team, can you advise the weight and dimensions of the kit (when taken out of the box)?

I might be having a friend bring it back from US to my country by flight, so I would like to know how much space and weight it will take up if put inside a luggage bag.

Thanks!

The weight is under 1 lb.
And the intake is about 8" and the filter is about 4"
Everything could easily fit in a small backpack, or hand bag.
