That is the Idle Speed Control Valve Actuator .

Buzzing Noise on Shut off?

Thank you for answering. This is my first motorcycle and I'm starting to learn about it. What you are saying is the 2 seconds of buzz noise when turning the key to the off position is the Idle Speed Control Valve. Does the sound indicate that I should get it looked at?
No. That sound is normal
If it doesn't make that sound you probably have issue and a Yellow CEL
The yellow Check engine light ( Indicators-#5 engine warning indicator) (CEL) will come on when the motor is off and the key is in the ON position and during the start-up cycle
If the CEL stays on after the motor is running you have a issue.
