Installed the BMC Air Filter
https://www.ridersdiscount.com/bmc-...16-18-z-125-red-fm94304-1097231/sku/TR-409069
.
The stock air filter is so dense i could not even see a trace of Sunlight through it (pic 1)
The BMC Air Filter almost seams to thin (pic 2) to be a better filter, but i'll trust there reputation more than my own opinion
.
STANDARD BIKE FILTERS - FM943/04
.
I will not do a performance review due to modified stock air box and just recently not using the 02 sensor
Greg_e will be installing one on a stock motor and a much better motor modification guy than myself and for noticing performance gains.
.
My stock air Box has the mods from my 'stock air box mod thread (Pic's 5& 6)
https://www.z125owners.com/forum/wh...asaki-z125-today/15065-stock-air-box-mod.html
.
Just started a new thread so "BMC Air Filter" specifically shows up on search and sub-forum index's ;)

Opened up stock air to max without any holes in front or on top due to riding off road and falling dirt, mud, and rain

Rear boot opening to max
Side panel to max
Inside middle web to max

Didnt notice much of a gain except right at shift maybe a little more snap.

If i was riding street only i would do some holes or square ports on the front cover.

I guttted the inside too, then broke the connection from the hose to the airbox and slapped a K&N ru-1130 ontop of the intake hose and put the box back together. Wondering if this is just as good as using a chimera or man in the box. It's not "tuned" if that makes a huge difference (I'm not racing anyways, for what it's worth).
