If there's anyone in Wisconsin who has a 17 gray bike and wants green, let's talk. Maybe we can meet up somewhere and make a trade.

I'm talking non SE or KRT Candy Lime Green for Metallic Graphite Gray, full bodywork trade.

I only picked green because that's what they had in stock for a super low price. And color wasn't really important to me, but in reality I would like Gray if given the choice.

Failing a bodywork trade, cost is about $250 using the free shipping code at cheapcycleparts.com. Then of course my original bodywork goes up for sale.

Hmmm gotta pick my gray now.

2017 - Metallic Graphite Gray - lighter, almost silver (-45)
2018 - Metallic Courage Gray - looks darker, almost a little green (-36)

Apparently red is an option for 2018, but they don't have it added to the fiche yet.

Talking to myself here for a bit, hahah. No takers on the color switch. For me, gray would be better than green. But...

I was at the Chicago motorcycle show yesterday, and they had red. The sign said red was one of the 2018 colors available. It was surprising because everywhere else I have seen colors listed as gray, blue/black and the KRT lime green/black

Ideally I want white and/or red, the colors of my last 2 race bikes. If I got red, I would add some white accents.

If they come out with a red color, I will just buy all new plastics for that.

All the parts fiche vendors only show gray, green and black available, even for 2018.

I've got the 2018 grey and I was really looking for the green... but the grey/greenish color of the '18 has grown on me.

Bump. I want red now. It's gotta match the Ducati I just picked up, hahah. I also figured out where to find red in the parts fiche. Gotta look under the BR125JJSA, whatever that is.

OEM Parts -> Kawasaki -> Motorcycle -> 2018 -> 2018 Kawasaki Z125 PRO (BR125JJSA)

FENDER-FRONT,C.P.RED item: 35004-0352-A5 $61.42 Qty 1 $61.42

COVER-TAIL,LH,C.P.RED item: 36041-0020-A5 $41.02 Qty 1 $41.02

COVER-TAIL,RH,C.P.RED item: 36041-0021-A5 $41.02 Qty 1 $41.02

SHROUD,LH,C.P.RED item: 49133-0011-A5 $47.18 Qty 1 $47.18

SHROUD,RH,C.P.RED item: 49133-0012-A5 $47.18 Qty 1 $47.18

COVER-HEAD LAMP,LWR,C.P.RED item: 55022-0318-A5 Qty 1 $71.78

Subtotal: $309.60

Est. Shipping:* $0.00

Est. Sales Tax (0%): $0.00

Anyone have red and want green? If not, I might just buy red and throw all my like new greens on ebay.

.
JJSA Is the canada model ,but will only make a difference on the stickers.
.
JJS Is the Califorina model . Stickers and smog stuff
(theres also JJS/US & JJS/CAILF) when searching for other parts
.
Decals and stickers dont look included with tank shrouds, but guessing you already know that and your going bare or something better looking anyways
.
good link for model numbers / https://www.bike-parts-kawa.com/kawasaki-motorcycle/125-MOTOS/2018/Z125 PRO

Weird that the red doesn't show up on the non-JJSA version on the Z125. But dealers are clearly selling red in the US.

.
And Yes...... I'd like to see the Ducati
.
It's just a Monster, don't get too excited. Bought to putt around the street. Looks like this:

But I hear the V4 Panigales are pretty hot.

I need a green front fender and both tank shrouds if you part yours out.

Yeah. What sucks is that little raised Z is not included and it's a ridiculous $32 per side. So if I want to be complete, I have to add this to my order x 2.

MARK,SHROUD,Z125 56054-1992 $31.58
MARK,SHROUD,PRO 56054-1993 $1.99
MARK,SHROUD,KAWASAKI 56054-2154 $10.82

Or save some money and cut the Z's off my green shrouds which devalues them on the used market. Not sure what I will do. Potentially just go without and do something custom anyway. I'll have to call the OEM parts people to see if I can even get a complete set of red first anyway. Chances are one key piece is back ordered or unavailable and the whole plan is off unless I'm in a Christmas mood.

I'll stay in touch if this works out and I part out the green.

...He says as if a Monster weren't on my bucket-list. Congrats and enjoy.

We chose between black and red recently and the Z red is NOT going to be matchy matchy just so you are aware. It's very deep and metallic, not bright and flat like your new Duc. That said I've never seen one in sunlight. The green Zs look completely different depending on the light and the red seems to be the same way.

Yeah, I see it's called "Candy Persimmon Red" or something, but I saw one and it does look closer to plain red than candy or metallic. But I'm good either way. In some pics it does look just plain red.

Perfect, just figured I'd mention it in case you hadn't seen one in the flesh yet. RE: Raised Z logos: Use the ones from your current panels and mention it when you sell them on? Good luck with your swap!

Well I ordered a full set of red. The Kawasaki main warehouse had everything in stock. I will sell off the green when the red gets here. I have some plans from dressing up the plain red.

Cool! What did you decide to do about the "Z" & "125" & "PRO" badges? Part of your secret plan?

Part of the secret plan, hahah. But I can say that there are some 3D raised "Z" symbols on ebay pretty cheap if I go that route, and there are also some Z125 decals.

This kit with wheel stripes looks pretty cool.
