hey guys! I'm new to the forum and just bought a new z125.
i have been experiencing ALOT of false neutrals, so much so i caught one turning on a busy street ( lake michigan drive) which caused me to dump the bike leaving me road rashed. has anyone else had a lot these false neutrals happen to them? and if so is there a way to fix it?

The gcraft shift shaft guide is supposed to help with false neutrals. I believe it supports the shift arm to eliminate any bending. There's a thread on here about it

This bike has a very long shift lever throw compared to some other bikes. If you are used to another bike you may not be moving the lever far enough to get it completely engaged into the next gear. Happened to my buddy(who also has a ZX-6R) until he forced himself to shift more deliberately. Try to make a point of shifting slower and firmly until the lever stops moving to see if that helps. The aftermarket shift shaft mount will help reduce some of the flexing, but it won't shorten the throw. Let us know if that helps or it may be something else.
