I got the KENDAS 761 Dual Sport tires and was really surprised with the performance loss that comes going to a heavier and taller tire on a totally stock bike. At first take off with them I thought the brakes were dragging and I'm thinking that's from the rotation mass weight of them. Actually I had to rev up higher to take off, And can only hit the rev-limiter about half the time now and I'm thinking that's the taller height of a 130/70 tire affecting the gear ratio along with the extra tire weight.
But they look great and really that's the only reason I bought them. I don't ride street aggressively, And off road with only 8.6hp there's not a big enough difference to tell.

Yep, I was amazed when my box of four Kenda KD1s came and they are only 7.5-8.0 lbs. a tire...seems the 761 is a full pound heavier.

I’ve been satisfied with Michelin pure 2ct scooter tires. Been through a few sets and they aren’t too bad for the price. If I had unlimited budget I’d go Dunlop TT’s every time - more grip and better tire in general, as they should be for costing double a Michelin.
