My chain is completely worn and stretched. I have maxed out the stock adjustment. So... while im buying a new chain, why not stretch it?

So... what chain length is needed for a 3" stretch?

118 links just didnt sound right :surprise:
.
If 3" stretch means it is exactly 3" longer
.
The Simple math makes it a 6" longer chain makes it a 112 link
And a chain calculator shows the same amount at 112 link
.
Confirm chain length with 3" stretch suppler sounds like a good idea :wink2:

Impossible ... no it does not mean it moves the axle back 3"
that is what I would assume reading a 3" stretch ?
.
Looks like 3" actually moves the axle back 4 1/2"

But who knows where what they call 3" comes into play /

Ok cool. Most chains i looked at were 130 links. Plenty long enough.

Is there a preferred chain that has shown to be the better option?
