Kawee has a custom high mount FMF pipe that allows him to run a skid plate.

At $90 it's tempting but even the $0.10 mod was too loud for me.

I am not buying one myself. Just wanted to share one of the cheapest new exhaust that seems to be holding up better than most others and looks good and sounds good. And a exhaust under $100 bucks is the best deal i ever seen yet

Like all aftermarket exhaust its obnoxiously loud and will probably hurt your performance a little. most people that put one on loose a couple miles per hour top end and some can no longer hit the rev limiter in 4th anymore. but the VA-ROOM out ways that for most of us that bought the bike for run around the neighborhood fun and getting any high performance out of it dosent matter.

See I'm tempted but I think the sound of the Z under acceleration is spectacular for such a toy, and people always compliment the bike saying how quiet it is. I can tool around the neighborhood when I have nowhere to go and nobody minds; people walking their dogs just wave to me. Loud exhaust, I would not get such nice treatment.

The 10 Cent ''OPTIONAL ANDO'' muffler mod is the only way around it

https://www.z125owners.com/forum/wha...tml#post131347

if i ever go back to street riding only I would really-really like to have the stock exhaust back on with just the 1 rear hole with the optional block off cap

Someone needs to get one of these $90 beasts on the Dyno. On the other hand the kind of person that buys this exhaust can't afford dyno time, but it sure would be interesting to know.

Maybe I'll do it just for the **** of it. Can't really trust a business who is selling Yosh systems to test one.

I bought this exhaust and can most definitely afford a dyno tune. However what you SHOULD have said is the person who buys this exhaust doesnt give a **** about dyno or track time. It does 2/3rds of what the $400 exhausts do for less than 1/3rd of the price, it makes the bike more enjoyable to the ears (subjective) and move enjoyable to ride (also subjective).

I'll send $10 towards it, maybe we can get a few other people to "buck up". Paypal friends/family/gift thing so no charges. Anyone else in?

There's a reason you don't see the Anodize Racing or Zoom haulers in the paddock at a World Superbike Race.... They certainly serve their purpose for people wanting some sound on the cheap. Beyond that, don't get your hopes up when you start real testing....
