Bazzaz/intake install-now won’t start

Hi everyone . Installed M - Intake and Bazzaz EFI Thursday. Fired right up , check engine light, but ran it around neighborhood real quick . Ran great, more power 🙂 Friday morning , went to ride to work and no start. Cranks, won’t fire .

I’ve called vendor and Bazzaz customer service. I didn’t have much time with either so got same advice from both, but still no start . Both said to check connections, especially wire taps, injector connection, ground, and inline o2 sensor.

No go.

Bazzaz said to try plugging in stock injector line back in , and same , no start still .

Connected all stock connections back, and it still won’t start.

Any ideas , I’m stumped , and bummed .

Heading to go get jumper clip to check the codes .

Bike is 2019, has 160 miles on it. Got a new exhaust to slap on , and box of other parts but gonna wait til this is figured out .

Hoping it’s something simple. Any help greatly appreciated!

May have to bite the bullet and get it scanned for codes.

Does it have spark? May have fouled a plug running rich before the new 02/ECU "caught up".

Is the plug wet? After cranking it over for some time there should be some remnants of fuel in there. Can you confirm you're getting fuel?

Check the fuses. A few of my very frustrating troubleshooting missions have turned out to be a fuse that I didn't think was related.

Anything can kill you. Pick something fun.

Thanks for the ideas. Just pulled the codes using jumper . 6 slow blinks, 7 fast , and 1 slow 4 fast. ???

Looking then up now.

I’m gonna grab a spark plug puller in town in a few hours to check the plug for fouling/fuel.

Plug was fouled ! Cleaned the spark plug, Put on my new exhaust, pulled the plug for the 2nd map on the Bazzaz, and it fired right up. Took it for a spin and loved it . Thanks so much for the advice on the fouled plug.
