Well the bike is done for now with the install yesterday of the Kenda KD1 Kwik instead of the OEM tires.

Work so far:
Number Plate
Woodcraft lever guards
Woodcraft barend sliders
Woodcraft front and rear axle sliders
Twin Brothers exhaust
MNNTHEBX Air filter
Driven Rearsets
Powercommander with Autotuner
Kenda KD1 Kwik tires
Ohlins Rear shock
Ohlins front fork kit
Redbull catch can

So far it has been to 2 race days and 7 track days with 280 KM (170ish Miles) on it with the OEM tire, so this weekend will be a nice change as I have race days on both Sat and Sun with the new Kenda tire. Picture of the OEM tire after the last race day.

I say I am "done" but as soon as I started writing this and trying to remember all the upgrades more came to mind that I am considering doing:
Quick throttle
Levers
Tank grips
Maybe clipons or a different handle bar
A better chain as soon as this one is stretched to the max.

Very nice bike azlar!

I'll be curious how you like the KD1 compared to your experience with more dedicated race tires. I've been blown away by mine.

Curious that you are planning a quick throttle for track use, in my mind a quick throttle makes more sense on the street while the extra finesse of the standard cam would be appreciated on the track.

I have a KLX tube sitting around waiting for me to buy new grips.

Dropped a gear... ...still here

I have to twist and twist and twist to get to the end of the power coming out of the turn and hoping the quick throttle solves that problem. Maybe I'm just too used to the old sv650 I had on the track.

For some of the stock class racing in the local club you can't have slicks. So to allow me to race in as many classes the Kenda's fit the bill. I've only run OEM on this bike so far and never done mini racing before so this is new to me, unsure what to compare them to. Maybe Greg would be a better resource. From what you guys have said these will be awesome and for the price I couldnt go wrong.

I use the quick turn throttle from MNNTHBX and love it. I’m just street use only, but I would certainly want it for track use as well. Not sure how much “extra finesse” is needed when dealing with our limited horsepower! Another advantage you might not need - I have carpal tunnel syndrome in my right wrist. This throttle helps a lot...

Touché sir.

That's a fair point honestly... driving the FIAT around town my [digital] quick throttle is a PITA in traffic and parking lots, but at AutoX my inputs are a bit more extreme. It's not easy to shock the tires with the engine for either vehicle.

I have zero performance riding experience so this is all just speculation.

You will love the grip of the Kendas over stock tires and for the price, they are hard to beat. (I see the price of PMT slicks went up at my local supplier).

But how you can ride on a track with the stock handlebars is beyond me. Your wrists must be very flexible. I'm over 6 feet tall and like the Pro Taper KLX110 bend. Aggressive but still comfortable.
