I'm a big Michelin fan myself. This spring I am probably going to pick up a set of Michelin Pilot Pure SC or Michelin City Grips. My biggest hangup is size. Not many options if you want to keep stock tire size.

For pure street riding, the Michelin Pure is hard to beat. It comes up a tiny bit short, pushed hard for track use. The Dunlop TT is kinda the opposite. It's a track monster, but works pretty great for street use. These are our two top selling street tires by a large margin.

Slimmer if you're performance oriented. Wider if you're chasing style.

TT93s are great if you love cornering wet or dry and aren't as worried about mileage

Iím a Michelin guy myself and I have the Pilot pureís On all 4 of my 125ís. I ran the 2CTís on every sport bike i ever owned and used them hard at the track. You get great mileage out of them being a dual compound.

iím Running 140/70 and 120/70 on one and I have a 130/70 and 120/70 on the other. Mistake in ordering but it worked out. the 130 definitely turns in and rotates a tiny bit quicker but the 140 is more stable and looks better.

Also a 130 should bring the speedo within 1mph of accuracy and the 140 will make the speedo right one. Also the 130 is a tick shorter so it accelerates every so slightly better. Canít go wrong either way and they are cheaper than the Dunlops by quite a few bucks. I think I paid about $94 for the set.

@Phantomx2k. If you had to order another set and didn't care about aesthetics, would you go with the 140 or 130?
