New jabroni from NY.

Sup dudes, new Z owner. Just bought my 2018 SE with 857 miles on Saturday. It came with handlebars and I already ordered gold shorty levers and a fender eliminator for it. Used to ride an 06 zx6r that I bought back in 2011 until some ass hole took me out on my way to work in 2016, loved that bike for 5 1/2 years and over 12k miles.

I absolutely love the blue/black and gold combo. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a gray 2017 and then found this one much closer to home.

Nice score! The SE is my favorite Z.

Welcome to the forum and welcome back to riding, very glad your crash didn't keep you off of bikes for good.

Dropped a gear... . . . . . . . . . . ...still here

Two links for you:

Hoping this one comes back https://www.nyminigp.com/

Any day at open practice you can probably get on the track with other small bore bikes https://www.ovrp.net/

If NY MiniGP comes back, we race at OVRP.

That's awesome, thanks for the tips. I've never actually taken a bike on a track before. The only "track" experience I have is with my 04 GTO down the drag strip.

You'll need a good helmet and full leathers, but two piece are OK if they zip together. I bought the cheapest thing I could get on Amazon, and it's not too bad.

Generally the peg feelers need to be removed, they can dig into the pavement and OVRP is only a couple years old on their pavement now, probably just getting good by now.
