Installed a Zoom Brute exhaust to my Z125

I installed my Zoom exhaust that arrived today. Pretty straight forward even though the instructions were no help. Took a little while to figure out how the hanger bracket mounts and ended up using the stock muffler bolt to hang it. Sounds a little quieter than I expected. I left one of the supplied baffles in and left the backer baffle for the head pipe out. When I get a chance I'll run it on my friends dyno and see if pulling it out has any effect on power.

I have had mine on for a couple months now. I installed it without any of the baffles and it is pretty loud, not unbearable. Now I can't find the baffles because I wanted to try with at least one in. It does sound really good IMO though.

Thanks for the feedback guys. So it has 3 levels of ear bleed? From what I've heard of the ZoOM loop even just the one baffle (as pictured) kills volume (and power) quite effectively.

I'm not buying for power though. This pipe keeps looking more and more attractive to me.

I've got a Zoom brute hiding in my basement ready to go on as soon as I get some free time. We can meet up this spring if you want to see it/hear it before I go BBK. The pipe looks and feels really nice. My only gripe is the 'browning' around the welds and not sure if that is an indicator that the finish won't hold up... Once that is installed, I will have a Zoom loop up for sale.

The browning is what gives it character. Mine still looks great after a few salty winter rides. Without baffles it isn't ear bleeding I really like it....I just want to sneak around a little more.

I'll agree with both of you. The browning looks really good from what I've seen, contained to the welds and fading into the finish near the welds, but if the entire pipe turns that color over time it would look uggers IMO.

Looks like the same one-sided mounting as the ProCircuit.

There is a hanger mount that comes with the kit. I'm not sure if I mounted it correctly or not but I'll try to get a picture of it when I get home.
