The battery light, even though it has now turned off, should be a pretty good indicator of what your issue is.
Check the terminal connections. They loosen up easily. Cinch them down.
Fuse box is in "proper order"? Is each one checked for continuity? Nothing to be learned from a glance in there.
Charge the battery.
Anything can kill you. Pick something fun.
