Easy as long as you can get the 02 sensor out of his ok. hopefully he didnt crank it in to tight...

You need this exhaust, (pic) and the rear long bolt . you can use the same front header nuts and a new crush washer is always nice but using the old one usually doesn't leak

Not going to lie I did not understand most of that.

I have never owned a motorcycle and exclusively lease cars and do zero of my own maintenance.

Thank you for reply however.

Sorry, always hard to offer advice before learning new members background :

Try to get his stock muffler like one in pic, if not you can get a used one for around 75 bucks on e-bay and we'll help you put it on

Did you end up getting the bike? I noticed the Craigslist ad had been deleted. I finally ordered myself a replacement exhaust so if that's what you're still after when the time comes, I'll let mine go for dirt cheap... probably $60 shipped.

I did not buy it but just texted the owner, it likely sold.

He was going to drive to me in Westchester, about 60 miles to make the deal at $2400.

I have no issue buying one new but at $3400 out the door it is challenging to justify when bikes with 500 miles sell for 1k nearly 30% less. I am also going to leave this outside all day at the station and, although will keep it mechanically sound, will allow the elements to abuse it everyday.

Also, dealerships are closed Sundays and I am not home early enough during the week so there is a logistical challenge as well. The beauty of the a car lease is they delivered it!

Paid $3k OTD near boston. Was looking at 2018 models.

Had Bay Harbor motorsports in NY willing to sell me one for $2858 OTD, but they kind of dicked me around a ton. Certainly didn't feel like they wanted to sell the bike. SO when a local dealer said he could do $3k, I went for it, rather than taking a 4 hour drive each way and dealing with the salesman at bay harbor.

I just saw a place in California with 8 red 2018 (new) with an OTD price of 2950 listed online. Seems like a really good deal that others should be able to match. The Groms still seem to be fetching quite a bit more for theirs.

Sub 3k OTD on a new one is where you want to be. I was around 2800 when I bought mine. That includes reg and 6.35% sales tax, so bike was around 2500 to dealer (including all the bs fees) plus around 150 for reg and the tax.

So I would shoot for 2500-2600 plus tax and title, nothing else on top.
