Any advice on which exhaust I should get?

Hi!
I’m looking to put an aftermarket exhaust on my Z.
I want more sound, but I don’t want my neighbors to hate me.
I was seriously considering a Yoshi, but I’m worried it will be too loud.
Can anybody suggest on that might be “just right”?
Thanks!

The unthinkable non-popular option: Stay stock.

Every single exhaust made is loud enough to piss off your neighbors. Including the Yoshi, WITH the noise tube insert in. If you have to drive through your neighborhood on your Z at 6am, do the right thing and don't be a dick.

I think from everything I've read here and watching YouTubes that 10 out of 10 all say there all obnoxiously loud no matter which one you buy.
Not sure if all of them have a slip in baffle available or not , so sounds like thats a must to you.
Check to see what 02 bung they have to match your current and future needs (fuel controller)

Only a couple of them actually add HP, so more homework there.
I Only recall seeing the Yosh' and the Brooks with actual Dyno' proof but I'm sure there are more

But even the obnoxiously loud exhausts can be fairly quiet if babied out of your neighborhood or past a cop by only using 1/8' minimum throttle ...

There is a free mod thats is “just right” but your stuck with that toaster oven hanging off the bottom of your bike

Thanks for the advice. I guess it’s go loud or go home. I’ll just have to keep the revs down in the morning.

Eh... I had a whole thing typed up, but I'll keep it brief.

Pro-Circuit T-6: Relatively quiet, probably doesn't flow well enough for tuning improvements.

Graves Carbon: Relatively quiet, does apparently flow well, top dollar.

Kaw'ee $0.10 MuffMod: Might be good enough. Might as well try it before you spend your money.

GLHF, ride safe!

Dropped a gear... ...still here
