Max air with stock box

I'm Going to try this wanting to stay with the stock box !
And leave my side holes open as well.

That hole between the two sides looks to bypass the air filter completely. Not sure I'd do that.

Opening up the intake hole worth a try I guess. Why not just leave the cover off and ride it and see if there is any improvement? If there isn't then all the holes are for nothing. Same with filter, try it both ways, no change then keep the filter.

I'm a believer in trying stuff but if I can try stuff without permanently changing it then I don't have to buy stuff to start over. Then again I'm a cheapskate but I do like to mod things! Nothing I own is stock!

Bottomline is have fun as thats what counts.

The hole in the airbox is there stock. Guy in video only made it bigger. I thought the same thing after watching this video months ago. After installing drop in filter I saw the light...

Already did it just for fun and to try it.. but all for nothing, It's already off I'm in the middle of a Mikuni VM26 Carb Swap right now

Remove the front cover and there is a k&n style filter that fits in that tube i can't remember where if i find it ill post it

I like EFI because cleaning carbs because of ethanol crap gas is the worst. Have a retro Triumph with carbs and if it sits for a couple weeks you have to pull the carbs, close to selling because of it.
